Description

In this episode, we were lucky enough to sit down with Tomás Sabat at Grakn Labs.

What did we talk about? Who are Grakn? Drug Discovery and Robotics – Tell us more?! Why is community and maintaining  “opensource at heart” so important to Grakn Labs? What challenges come with that? Knowledge Graphs – buzz or not? You call Grakn a knowledge graph, a knowledge base, and a database – is it all three? How do you define a knowledge graph at Grakn?

Grakn is the only database in the world that can do reasoning at the database/conceptual level.
Graql – Grakn’s query language – is a 5th generation query language.
Grakn is the database for complex problems – abstracting away the complexity to enable users to do more with the data they have and will have.
