In this first episode of our podcast dedicated to the history of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, we find ourselves on the Larzac Plateau. This vantage point offers a panoramic view of the appellation. Higher still is Mont Saint Baudille, the symbol of the Plateau, visible from almost the entire region. The microclimate of this plateau, its climatic influence and its specific hydrology are fundamental factors in the creation of our wines and their distinctive character.

What led to the creation of the appellation in 2014 was the spirit and passion of the winegrowers. Through several decades of hard work, the diversity of their approaches has forged a demanding and ambitious group, deeply committed to bringing out the very best of the terroir. Recognition as an AOC therefore came in 2014 as a testament to teamwork and the expression of a collective identity.
