Dans ce 36ème épisode, le micro est à Clare Woodcraft, nouvelle directrice exécutive de la Chaire Philanthropie de l'ESSEC et co-éditrice, avec Kamal Munir et Nitya Khemka, de l'ouvrage "“Reimagining philanthropy in the Global South: from analysis to action in a post-Covid world” publié en 2024.

Clare Woodcraft expose les grandes idées de cet ouvrage collectif, qui propose un aperçu de la manière dont les « nouveaux » modèles de philanthropie privée dans le Sud global abordent les défis de développement les plus pressants. Il présente une évaluation des défis et des opportunités de la philanthropie dans différents pays du Sud global, ainsi que des leçons tirées de l'impact de la pandémie sur les dons, et souligne comment la philanthropie dans le Sud global peut s'indépendantiser vis-à-vis des grandes fondations du Nord.
