Description

Because each week that starts is a new beginning I wanted to read you a story so I propose you the jewel like a kiss of Sunday evening.

For this podcast I have the chance to be on the Gemgeneve show and as I know you like different things I found you a jeweler really surprising. She comes from Australia, she works in London and do you know what she does? She transforms the things you put your whole life into jewels. You guessed it and yes: it's your cell phone, your computer turned into a new sentimental jewel. The Brand is called Oushaba and her name is Gillian Carr.

The idea came to him during the confinement. Cell phones and computers became the link between people, between families. These machines are the essential elements of human relationships as an extension of their personality and affections. And as there is gold in electronic components, it seemed natural to her to transform them into jewelry.

His collection is therefore created from recycled gold and recycled gems. And these jewels respect a sustainability approach. You can come with your broken or obsolete cell phone and computer and Gillian will create a unique piece of jewelry with gold, silver and the gems you choose. Often we don't see right away that these are electronic components which makes the jewelry unique.

The collection is unisex with necklace and pendant, bracelets, rings and earrings. Gillian uses cables, chargers, USB keys, electronic chips, pluggers and surrounds of precious metal, emeralds, sapphires, rubies or diamonds.

In your cell phone there you have all your life. So these electronic elements became precious because they symbolize today a different and very strong link between the people and these machines like the sentimental jewels of the XIXIst century.

To see them I put you this link oushaba.com

I am Anne Desmarest de Jotemps and I give a voice to the jewels every Sunday. And if you also want to talk about your jewelry and your House I will be happy to accompany you to make your podcast brand or welcome you as a partner in my native podcasts.

Our date on the Brillante podcast will be May 21. And I'll see you the following week on this podcast.

Please support the podcast by putting reviews and stars on Spotify or Apple podcast, by subscribing and sharing it on your social networks.

I wish you a nice week and lots of kisses like a jewel.
