Description

Hi everyone, it’s Mona. This month we are back with an episode that isn’t like the others. Instead of questioning, we’ll be answering. How is that you might think?

Remember how last summer I interviewed Bianca Buitendag, silver medalist at the Tokyo Olympic in surfing?

Well, this semester I had to write a blog about performance in sports. I decided to focus my research on the impact of menstruation in sports, cause it’s about bloody time we talk about it!

Did you know that less than two quantitative studies in the world focused on this topic? In this blog article we look at what menstruation actually means and its cycle but also how it impacts your physical and mental performance. If you haven’t read it yet, I’ll add a link in the description for you to follow and I’ll see you in a bit. For those who already read it, get yourself a nice cup of tea.

In this short episode, you will be able to listen to some feedback of what people genuinely thought, learned and at best, incorporated in their daily activities! This may help you understand how the blog article impacted them and how it might impact you.

I hope you enjoy it, Good listening
