Description

Tiffany was diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer that had spread to her brain at age 36. Prior to her diagnosis, Tiffany lived an active, healthy lifestyle and worked as a nurse. Never did she think that one day, she herself would become the patient that she had spent her career caring for. Throughout her diagnosis, Tiffany has learned to become her own best advocate and work with her healthcare team to find the best treatment for her specific type of lung cancer. In July 2020, Tiffany’s doctors declared her NED – no evidence of disease.

A few highlights from the show:

1. Anyone with lungs can get lung cancer. It does not matter your age or if you smoke.

2. A white ribbon represents lung cancer awareness. Learn about the White Ribbon Project. https://www.thewhiteribbonproject.org/

3. Resources: Lungevity, https://www.lungevity.org/, Lung Cancer Foundation of America, https://lcfamerica.org/, International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), https://www.iaslc.org/

🦄About Me:

In 2011, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, out of the blue. I did not have any prior health concerns or issues. Fast forward, the dreaded cancer diagnosis opened my eyes, introduced me to my purpose, and lead me to where I am today.

As a Cancer Doula, I use my 11 years of experience with cancer to support and guide others diagnosed with cancer. Many people are not familiar with what a cancer doula is. Think of me as a personal patient advocate. Schedule a free 30-minute Meet and Greet call to learn more. https://bit.ly/OTOSDiscovery
