S#1 FinStrategies, business models and finance for sustainable development CS02 - Altios : Lucie Juigné, Altios international projet manager consultant (interview) (EN) We are now with Altios, a French consulting business in international development and implementation for small and medium sized businesses. We are delighted to interview Lucie Juigné, international project manager for Altios, answering our questions to better understand how Altios is concerned by sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. In 2024 all businesses are concerned by internationalisation and this now includes putting sustainable development into practice. Including sustainability criteria is a slightly different perspective from the past decades on how a business should be run. Under the constraint of sobriety, the core concern is to bring back common sense at every stage of a product or service's value chain. In this episode, you will discover how Altios guides its clients to build sustainable, ethical and responsible economic and financial strategies. We will discuss the CSR frameworks and labels, their legitimacy, the need to take cultural differences into account to define « best practice » business behaviors. We will also discuss the future role of quality and environmental processes to align the world of business with social and climate challenges. « We can’t continue on the path we conduct concerning consulting matters » « They’re is no winning business in a loosing world » « Think local, act global » - Lucie Juigné, March 2024. Plan of the episode / Partition de la piste #1 Could you please define Altios and the job you do for the company ? When did Altios start developing CSR policies ? (1’03) #2 What definitions of CSR do you see in the different countries where you have offices ? Could you give exemples of these differences ? Do these differences make it difficult to define a global CSR policy ? How do you manage to overcome these difficulties ? (3’34) #3 Which CSR labels or policies do have the best influence, in France, in Europe and in other world’s regions ? Can you tell us about your knowledge of these labels ? (11’36) #4 How do you see these labels as being in competition with one another ? (13’31) #5 In the next 3 or 5 years, what are the perspectives of CSR for Altios and your customers ? (15’55) VOCAB CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) : RSO / RSE (Responsabilité sociétale des organisations ou des entreprises) Convention des entreprises pour le climat : Businesses convention for Climate Acknowledgments / Remerciements : Lucie Juigné, Nicolas Antheaume, Claire Thibaud.
