In this episode of the Spiritual Teachers Podcast, Petr sits down with Float to explore a deep and unfiltered journey through float tanks (sensory deprivation therapy), psychedelics, addiction recovery, and spiritual awakening. Float shares how his life transformed in 2014 after discovering flotation therapy, leading him into profound states of meditation, consciousness expansion, and ultimately owning his own float center.

This conversation dives into the powerful effects of float tank meditation, often described as “meditation on steroids,” and how sensory deprivation tanks can accelerate mindfulness, healing, and deep inner awareness. Float also reveals his experiences combining float tanks with psychedelics like DMT, psilocybin mushrooms, and LSD, offering insight into altered states of consciousness, ego dissolution, and spiritual downloads.

We also explore the darker side of the journey—addiction, withdrawal, and healing. Float opens up about quitting marijuana after 15 years of daily use, navigating kratom withdrawal, and overcoming psychological addiction patterns. This episode provides real, raw insight into addiction recovery, self-discipline, and mental clarity.

The discussion goes even deeper into Atlas Orthogonal spinal alignment, the connection between physical posture and higher consciousness, and how body alignment may influence spiritual awakening and energy flow. Topics like semen retention, masculine discipline, and energy cultivation are also explored as tools for personal transformation.

Petr and Float dive into profound philosophical territory, discussing free will vs determinism, reincarnation, non-linear time, and the nature of reality. They explore how psychedelics act as mirrors of the subconscious and how belief systems shape human experience.

You’ll also hear about Float’s journey through social media, meme culture, and controversial movements, and how he ultimately shifted toward unity consciousness, love, and self-awareness.

The episode concludes with a fascinating breakdown of the “Paul Is Dead” conspiracy theory, exploring claims that Paul McCartney was replaced by Billy Shears, with references to hidden messages in classic albums.
