Description
On today's episode, you'll hear about the inspiring journey of late bloomer Duan Asemota, a member of the Track & Field Sprint squad from Team Canada. At 28 years old, Duan strongly believes that his best years are ahead of him. After an injury a few years ago, that were followed by a couple of years with highly disappointing results where he saw no progress, he decided to drastically change his daily habits: better sleep schedule, better diet, and no more skipping any training, even if sick. Results started coming in, landing him a seat at the 2023 World Championship, and 2024 Paris Olympics. Now, Duan wants to keep the progress, and eyes the sub 10 mark, and then the Canadian 100m record. And this quest for excellence started at a much younger age..
