Description
In this new episode of 20 Divin, some of you will discover Liechtenstein 🇱🇮, a tiny country of almost 40,000 inhabitants, nestled between eastern Switzerland and the Austrian Alps, with Vaduz as its capital.
As far as I'm concerned , I discovered the wines from the Princely Family's winery at the last Wine Paris fair, and I have to say, I found them very elegant.
To tell us more, I’m delighted to welcome Nathalie Ströhle, the estate’s winemaker —originally from Upper Austria — along with Hannah Fiegenshuh, a German Bordeaux-trained oenologist. She joined Stéphane Derenoncourt’s consulting firm 15 years ago and has been bringing her expertise in viticulture and winemaking to the Princely Hofkellerei winery since 2019.
At the heart of this interview: of course the estate itself, but also a tasting of two Pinot Noir 🍷 cuvées from Liechtenstein, along with a cuvée made from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling from the Austrian side 🇦🇹 of the princely estate.
