    Hi, I'm Jiji Sebastian, working with Swayam Shikshan Prayog, the organization, which is in India. The organization meaning empowerment and self-education for rural women in India. Swayam Shikshan Prayog is working for empowerment. climate smart, agriculture, entrepreneurship, water, sanitation and climate energy solutions for the rural grassroots women in India.

    Myself is Naseem Sheik. I'm working with Swayam Sikshen Priyog in India. We are working with grassroots women farmers and entrepreneurs. Last 25 years, we are having a belief that without empowering women, we can't achieve the sustainable development. Thank you. Through ecology, we are trying to protect natural resources. Community empowerment is very much important. In our case, when our women are facing multiple disasters like drought, floods, cyclones, climate change, so these organized women are able to deal with these different disasters. as well as now they are dealing with the climate change issues in their community. So they are working on water conservation to water protection, water management, where to use and where to reduce the recycle of water. They are protecting their soil with different experiments like they are cultivating water efficient crops. These grassroots women are taking lead to cultivate food security crops. by using all bio pesticides, bio fertilizers. So these organized women are more important to deal with these climate issues. Women are the equal partner of the development. So we have to see their strength, their wisdom and their knowledge and we have to providing them financial mechanisms in their hand. providing them technology access and inviting them as equal partner in the various platforms. As a contributor, we want to deal with any disaster or climate issues. We have to look community or women as equal partner. We should not as a victim.
