Dr. David Bilstrom is a fellow of the American Academy of Integrative Medicine as well as an advanced fellow in anti-aging, regenerative, and Functional Medicine. He is on a mission to revolutionize how autoimmune and chronic disease is treated worldwide by teaching the science-based fundamentals of Functional Medicine.
He has been practicing for over 30 years, is quadruple board certified in Functional and Regenerative Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Bilstrom is the Director of the International Autoimmune Institute — the first medical center in the country associated with a teaching hospital to treat all types of autoimmune disease using Functional Medicine.
Dr. Bilstrom wrote the book the Nurse Practitioners Guide to Autoimmune Medicine: Reversing and Preventing all Autoimmunity and has a vision to see an NP in every community who specializes in preventing and treating the root cause of autoimmune and chronic disease.
