Speaker #0Welcome back to Soul Sisters Sleep Meditations. I'm back y'all. I'm back. Which means we're back y'all. We're back. I'm so excited to be in this space with y'all. It's been an absolute rough year for three. It's been rough, but I'm taking this new year to come back to myself, come back to the foundations, and I can only do that with y'all on my side. Us. As a team, that's the only way, that's the only way we gonna get through. And so, I'm back. I'm back. I'm so excited because just like just like when I first started this podcast I was really doing it because I felt like there was something missing out there I felt like I feel like there was something missing out there for people who have experienced life in my and you know having our uh basically people who have lived life in my skin um our shared lived experiences through this generation Yeah, I feel like this next chapter, era, stepping into my queendom, whatever that means to you. I can't do this without y'all. And that's what the first day of Kwanzaa is all about. Unity. Collective responsibility. I'm going to repeat that. Collective responsibility. Remembering what our end goal really is. Collective responsibility. our duty, our role, our inspiration, our purpose, our motivation, all of that aligns to the, or for the collective. which is ultimately to love and to do that in order to love we must have responsibility to not only ourselves to not only the other person but for the collective responsibility all for the collective responsibility, our responsibility to liberation, no matter what that looks like, as long as you feel safe in it. Our collective role, our collective responsibility. is to give back to the people that need us as we help each other fulfill our true liberation and true purpose assisting each other to achieve that liberation, that full purpose, that fulfilling life that you feel ultimately called to do. And so here I am again. here i am again just fulfilling my collective responsibility literally fulfilling my collective responsibility and so you know when it comes to creatives like me you us we when it comes to creatives like us We need to come together and unify for our shared purpose, our shared liberation. Because two brains are more powerful than one. Two puzzle pieces get you closer to... Two puzzle pieces get you closer to that full picture. Unity. Unity. Unity. Umoja. Umoja, Mocha, with unity with Umoja we could be with Umoja we could be we can each be a different color of the rainbow i could be purple you could be red orange yellow green blue purple okay we could be any color any color any color at all and we would fit somewhere in the spectrum that is a rainbow. And so when people say lights, that's exactly what they mean. Beauty. The beauty. The beauty. the light the way it all fits so seamlessly together so choose your row choose your color because in the end it's all about moja collective responsibility for our liberation and fulfilling our true heart's purpose what we feel called to do And so, and so, Umoja just bring it, just bring all those pieces back together. Umoja helps us live the life that we truly feel and deeply desire and choosing people who align with your purpose, your mission, your true life. calling and then from there we can just go from there So as we contemplate Umoja, unity, I want us to ground ourselves and remember what is your calling, what do you feel in your heart, what you need, what you're supposed to do. And then just find those people that want what you want. Find those people that are open-minded, being able to sacrifice their comfort in order to help you grow. That's unity. Being able to never seeing each other's faces in person, but knowing that you are kin. That's unity. Being able to see yourself in someone else. That's unity. Being able to not see yourself in another. that can also bring unity in ways you may never expect it ways in which people in which people grow, people learn, people realize, people adjust and move. People understand. People seek and work to understand. Consistently. That's unity. Share laughter. That's unity. Sharing real human stories. That's unity. Sharing. Your struggles. That's unity. Being able to accept, see them for them, see you for you, and accepting everything that comes as a result of that. That's Emoja. That's Unity. Umoja. Moja, moja, moja. Umoja, that's unity. Umoja, that's unity. Umoja, that's unity. Umoja, that's unity. Umoja means unity. Coming together for you and me. Umoja is for you and me. Umoja, I can't wait to see. We're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're moja, we're mo Umoja. This is called the emoji freestyle. Walking around looking off so... Walk around looking off so... Cut. To come together, collective responsibility. Coming together, collective responsibility. Unity means striving for and maintaining unity in the family, community, nation, and race, reflecting the African proverb, I am because we are. I am because we are. I am because we are. I am because we are. I am because we are. I am. I am beautiful. I am. I am enough. I am. I am always loved. I am. I am myself, I am. I am beautiful, I am. I am my queen, I am. I am lovable, I am. I am beautiful, I am because we are. I am because we are. I am cause we are. I am cause we are. I am because we are such a beautiful, beautiful partner. I remind you that you're not alone in any of this. We all want what you want. You want what I want. So why don't we come together in order to pursue? our ultimate dreams.
