Join us as we continue our Cultivate series, this week looking at Jesus as our Vine. Last week we introduced spiritual disciplines (means of grace) that we can practice to continue to cultivate a greater relationship with Jesus. In this Text, Jesus is clear that we must abide in Him in order to have or produce any true spiritual good. Part of our abiding is by practicing different means of grace to grow in Him. This week we study the "Corporate" disciplines, as we seek to find a greater harvest of Jesus this fall. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

Join us as we continue in our Cultivate series learning how to cultivate greater depth with Christ. Today we look at the idea that Jesus is our Divine Husband. Why would God give us this as a name of His? One of the things that is true is that God desires intimacy with His creation. So how do we form intimacy with God? This week we study the importantance of the Word of God in helping us to cultivate depth with Him. We will be focusing on trying to help our motivation, since this is often what is lacking in our approach to this means of grace (spiritual discipline). Join us as we study the Word together. Join us as we kick off our new series, "Cultivate," in which we focus on how to cultivate a deeper relationship with God. Each week we'll focus on a different relational character of God, and seek to learn how to grow in deeper relationship with Him, rightly viewing, interacting with, and receiving Him in that way. Today we focus on God as our Counselor. What does it look like to receive counsel from God? Do we know how to do this, and how needed it is for our soul? Do we get human counseling first, or do we get the Lord? Join us as we learn how to receive God as a Counselor and a Comforter together. Hosted on Ausha. Join us as we conclude our One Hit Wonders series focusing on the one-chapter books of the Bible. Today we look at the second part of Jude. How does a disciple of Jesus contend for the faith in a world dizzy and disillusioned by doubt and discouragement? Join us as we reflect on Jude’s exhortation and learn how to hold on to the faith and fight for those who are hurting. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

Join us as we continue our One Hit Wonders series focusing on the one chapter books of the Bible. Today we look at the first part of Jude. Jude is convinced that there are many teachers and many things that can shipwreck our faith. In fact, the greatest threat isn't "out there" but "in here." It is hard to maintain our faith and persevere until the end. But Jude gives an ironic way for how we can fight for our faith and hold firm to the gospel. Join us as we learn the threats against our soul and how to defend them together. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

Join us as we explore the letter of 2 John and discuss what walking in truth and love looks like as God's people. Walking in the truth of the gospel and in obedience to Christ can be hard for our generation. So much do we want the “feel” of the gospel, that we often miss the commands of the gospel, and don’t like words like “obey!” But our obedience is key to our love for Christ. We'll address what the first step to walking in truth and love is. We'll talk about how all three themes work together. And we'll discuss the fruit that is produced when we walk in truth and love. Join us as we begin our One Hit Wonder series, focusing on the one-chapter books of the Bible. We begin with a book that on the surface seems grim. Obadiah is a prophetic book focusing on God's judgment and wrath. However, what if the book is only grim because of our understanding of judgment and justice? What if God's wrath should be a sacred, desired thing? What if it increases our intimacy and longing for Him and gives us greater depth and ability to receive His love and kindness? If we see this book in the right lens, it will increase our love and respect for God, while also making us long for BOTH his justice and mercy. Join us as we kick off this series together! This Sunday we finish our series in 1 Thessalonians, focusing on how we can apply this letter. Paul gives rapid-fire commands to this thriving church, many of which likely apply directly to us today. How do we take everything that we've learned throughout this book, recognize that following in the commands of Christ produces joy in Christ (and therefore more of Christ), and seek to apply the commands of Christ into our life? Join us as we conclude this book together. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

This week, we focus on HOPE. The Apostle Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11, reminds us not to grieve like those without hope, but to believe in the resurrection of Jesus and the hope it brings. Hope in Christ is not mere optimism; it is a firm foundation. Paul urges us to believe, anticipate Christ’s return (parousia), and persevere. We are called to be people of hope, believing in Jesus, pursuing His presence, and persevering through challenges. Let us live in the light of this eternal hope and be ready for His return.
