Join us as we continue our Cultivate series, this week looking at Jesus as our Creator and Master. Working from the understanding of Master more in terms of employer (as it was somewhat used in ancient context), what does it mean to be employed by God, to serve Him? How do we do this well? Additionally, how can we do what God calls us to do? If God created us like Him, and recreates us in Christ to be used by Him, how can we serve Him well and find joy in it? Simply asked, what is our calling and how do we do it? Join us as we study this Text together. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

What if the most powerful name for God was also the simplest? In this sermon, we explore the radical idea that God is “Our Father,” as revealed by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Why do so many of us struggle to embrace this truth? We dive into Matthew 6 to uncover how our earthly experiences and the false promises of money distort our view of God’s fatherly care. Discover how He is not just a provider, but a patient, loving Father who carries our burdens and invites us to find peace in His kingdom. This message could change everything about how you see God! Join us as we continue our Cultivate series, this week looking at Jesus as our King. As we enter into another American election cycle politics can be something that is confusing, divisive... and without us realizing it, is can promise shadow-Saviors. There is much idolatry or apathy around American politics. Christ would offer us a different approach, and a better way. If we can recognize Jesus as King, it changes the way we see earth rulers here below. Join us as we study this passage together. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

Join us as we continue our cultivate series looking at Jesus as Friend. Jesus being our friend is something that seems very basic, but is likely virtually unexperienced by us in our relationship with God. As a culture we tend to deeply undervalue friendships and therefore have a hard time seeing the importance of Jesus being our friend. However if we can receive and understand this, it'd likely change so much in our relationship with Jesus. Join us as we study this truth together. Hosted on Ausha. Join us as we discuss how Light reflects many redemptive truths about God. Jesus is the light of the world! Isa. 9:2 says that before Christ we were walking in darkness, but Christ, who is light, appears that we might see (be saved), and He wants this light to shine on everyone. The imagery of Christ as our light has many clear implications. He shows us the path of life, He illuminates wisdom for us, we see clearly when Jesus is shining in our hearts and through our eyes. Often we still stumble around in a sense of darkness though because we don’t come to Christ as our illuminator. God is Light and we'll discuss the implications of this as to cultivate greater depth and worship of God. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

Join us as we continue our Cultivate series, this week looking at Jesus as our Vine. Last week we introduced spiritual disciplines (means of grace) that we can practice to continue to cultivate a greater relationship with Jesus. In this Text, Jesus is clear that we must abide in Him in order to have or produce any true spiritual good. Part of our abiding is by practicing different means of grace to grow in Him. This week we study the "Corporate" disciplines, as we seek to find a greater harvest of Jesus this fall. Hosted on Ausha. See ausha.co/privacy-policy for more information.

Join us as we continue in our Cultivate series learning how to cultivate greater depth with Christ. Today we look at the idea that Jesus is our Divine Husband. Why would God give us this as a name of His? One of the things that is true is that God desires intimacy with His creation. So how do we form intimacy with God? This week we study the importantance of the Word of God in helping us to cultivate depth with Him. We will be focusing on trying to help our motivation, since this is often what is lacking in our approach to this means of grace (spiritual discipline). Join us as we study the Word together. Join us as we kick off our new series, "Cultivate," in which we focus on how to cultivate a deeper relationship with God. Each week we'll focus on a different relational character of God, and seek to learn how to grow in deeper relationship with Him, rightly viewing, interacting with, and receiving Him in that way. Today we focus on God as our Counselor. What does it look like to receive counsel from God? Do we know how to do this, and how needed it is for our soul? Do we get human counseling first, or do we get the Lord? Join us as we learn how to receive God as a Counselor and a Comforter together. Hosted on Ausha.
