About the episode :
Premium spirits remain among the most resilient segments in the beverage industry, and here’s why:
Affluent Consumer Behaviour – For high-net-worth individuals, premium spirits are lifestyle statements, not luxury indulgences.
Collectibility & Investment – Rare whiskies, vintage Armagnacs, and limited editions are seen as appreciating assets.
Brand Prestige & Craftsmanship – Heritage and artisanal quality foster loyalty and reduce price sensitivity.
Global Demand & Scarcity – Limited supply and strong demand in luxury markets (Asia, Middle East, LATAM) fuel growth.
Digital & DTC Expansion – E-commerce strengthens brand-consumer relationships through curated and exclusive experiences.
Resilient Hospitality Sector – Premium spirits remain essential in luxury venues due to strong margins and experience-driven consumption.
