We both dedicate an entire episode to the fantastic country of Bolivia, which Shafik has written about in his book, Crossed Off The Map: Travels in Bolivia. This is a real deep dive into places to see in Bolivia, some background to the country's history, what it can offer you as a backpacker, and so much more. Shafik has spent a decade travelling in and around Bolivia and South America, and we share stories and tips for you.

We intended to talk about Patagonia, Chile and other travels in the episode, but we got engrossed in Bolivia so that Shafik will make another appearance on the podcast in 2024, and I am already excited about it. This is the last episode 2023, and we finish the year with a bang. Shafik is a fantastic speaker, storyteller and writer; you should soak up as much as possible with this episode.
