Description

Erin Orion is a childhood cancer survivor (lymphoblastic leukemia) and the mother to a childhood cancer survivor of non-genetic cancer. With a Master of Divinity and trained in many other healing modalities, Erin is a guide, counselor, and coach for people looking to create alignment and build resiliency through the exploration and healing of self and soul. She teaches therapeutic art forms, energetic hygiene, and practices that support sustainable thriving in a world in crisis. She also specializes in supporting families who are neurodiverse, gender diverse, disabled, and medically complex.

A few highlights from the show:

1. Cancer is the number one disease-related cause of mortality in children across the world.

2. The most common late effect of treatment that isn't discussed is mental health.

3. Childhood cancer is a chronic diagnosis.

4. Childhood cancer can have a generational impact and a huge family impact.

5. When you have a child who is treated for cancer, they're no longer functioning at a level a "normal" child is. They are dealing with issues most children don't have to deal with.

🦄About Me:

In 2011, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, out of the blue. I did not have any prior health concerns or issues. Fast forward, the dreaded cancer diagnosis opened my eyes, introduced me to my purpose, and lead me to where I am today.

As a Cancer Doula, I use my 11 years of experience with cancer to support and guide others diagnosed with cancer. Many people are not familiar with what a cancer doula is. Think of me as your personal guide and patient advocate. Schedule a 30-minute Meet and Greet call to learn more. https://bit.ly/OTOSDiscovery
