Mayim Vega is a Naturopathic Herbalist, Holistic Life Coach, and the founder of an online school called the Arukah Holistic Life Academy. Arukah offers a dual certification program in Naturopathic Herbalism & Holistic Life Coaching, with an emphasis on the online business model. It seems like a strange combination, but she believes that these 3 fields are important to becoming an effective healer. Mayim has a very interesting story. She was formerly a Computer Scientist / Engineer at the NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California but after some major disappointments with the modern medical system, decided to take her and her family’s health into her own hands. Now she teaches people from different backgrounds - from health professionals like doctors and nurses to people with no medical background - how to heal themselves and others without the need for harmful drugs or procedures with detrimental and sometimes deadly side effects.

1. The Arukah Method, is Mayim's approach and her school's approach to holistic health and healing. The word arukah, comes from the Bible. It means whole, restoration, and complete healing.
2. Nutrition, exercise, water, sunshine, temperance, fresh air, rest, and trust in God, helps to heal cancer, and other diseases.
3. Stress is a root cause of cancer and other major diseases. (Worry &lack of trust in God.)
