Welcome back to Soul Sistas Sleep Meditations. This podcast is sponsored by Ausha. Ausha is a podcast hosting platform with a mission to make every podcaster's voice heard. Whether you have a passion project or enjoy creating one-off episodes, OSHA is a platform for you. Head on over to app.osha.co and sign up for a free trial today. Hey, hey, Soul Sisters. This meditation is designed for those moments when you simply cannot turn your brain off. One thought leads to another, which leads to another, which leads to an endless cycle of more thoughts weighing on your mental. Perhaps you are so full of curiosity. or so full of worry, or both, that you may find it hard to focus on the current task at hand. Perhaps you have so many interests and so much information stored in your powerful brain of yours that one idea is connected to another idea Which connects to 2, 3, 4, 5 ideas. No matter what these thoughts are, let's take this moment right now. And with this meditation, let's welcome them. Let's first start by getting into a comfortable position. Allow yourself to release the tensions in your body. Any tightness, any uncomfortable feelings. We want to get into a place where we feel safe. and secure. Allowing the tension in your neck. Allow yourself to shake it out a bit as you find a comfortable position. And those shoulders, why don't we scrunch them up all the way to your ears and then allow yourself to release it. Maybe in your hands, allow your hands to relax and release the stomach. The diaphragm, allow your abdomen to relax. Any tightness you may be feeling in your legs, allow yourself to let go and release. whatever you're holding onto in your body. It's safe to let your guard down now. Let's start by taking a deep breath in and out. Again, allowing any tensions, whatever you're holding in your body, you can release it now. Again, deep breath in and release out. Let's bring our attention to any thoughts that may be coming up now. Any worries or any ideas you may be having right now. All thoughts are welcome. Allow ourselves to actually listen to those thoughts and what they are saying. Sometimes we may feel the thought, but we might not actually be listening to it. Let's actually take our time right now to Listen patiently and digest what the mind wants to say to us, what the mind wants to protect us from. And there is no limitation to the number of thoughts that we welcome in at this time. Allow as many thoughts as you can. If you have one thought, allow yourself to think of two. If you have four or five thoughts at a time, allow them to come at this time. We don't need to resist them at this moment. We welcome them with open arms. We welcome them with compassion. We welcome them with non-judgment. Sometimes these thoughts will come. Sometimes they will go. Allow them to ebb and flow as they please. And continue to notice and listen to what they say. Allow the thoughts to keep on coming. Allow them to move freely in and out of your mind. As fast or as slow as they want. This might feel overwhelming or uncomfortable. Just for a moment. Remember that you are safe here. You are allowed to sit in this space with our thoughts. This is a safe space. Let's keep allowing these thoughts in. Maybe if they were flowing slowly, allow them to flow faster. Allow them to flow. more faster into your mind. Allow them to flow as fast as they can. Maybe if you have six thoughts at a time, try to aim to think of nine or even ten thoughts at a time. Try to think of as many as you can. Allow them to keep coming freely, without restriction, without judgment. And... Allowing yourself to stay connected to your breath with the inhale and the exhale. Feeling these thoughts flowing into your mind freely. Listening to what they have to say. Allow the thoughts to keep on coming. They don't need to stop. Allow them to keep on coming. Keep on flowing. And allow them to flow as fast as you can. Staying connected with your breath. With the inhale... and exhale. As we continue to allow our thoughts... to flow freely. As we allow ourselves to welcome any and all thoughts. You may begin to notice your brain cycling through a lot of the same thoughts or worries or complaints or plain curiosities or different types of knowledge. Maybe you're starting to see a pattern in these thoughts. Maybe, You're seeing how these thoughts are a lot of the same. Maybe it's even a little boring now. Maybe your mind is a little tired now. And that's okay too. Allow yourself to slowly zoom out. What have you observed from listening to these thoughts? We can remind ourselves that these are just thoughts. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes they are connected. Sometimes they are disconnected and random. The brain is just talking in the way that it does. Our brains worry. Our brains complain. Our brains only job is really to help us survive. The brain gives off false alarms all the time telling us that we are not safe. These are merely just signals. And these thoughts are just thoughts. And a lot of these thoughts and ideas do not even belong to us. They are borrowed from the external world, from society, that YouTube video you watched last week, the programming of our world. We don't have to align with them or act on them if they do not align with our... authentic self with our souls and our spirit. They don't require any action or behavior at all from us. Beneath these thoughts that ebb and flow, come and go, they seem so temporary. Beneath these thoughts we have ourselves. We can stay connected to self. We can stay connected to wisdom. We can stay connected to our heart and our purpose. We are safe to move naturally. We are safe to move and behave from our heart's desire. We are safe in our inner knowing and in our inner truths. These are all just thoughts. Temporary. I stay connected to self. And I stay connected to the source. Asé. If you've enjoyed our meditations, we would be incredibly grateful if you could take a moment to show your love in return. It's simple, but it means so much to me, as feeling appreciated is my love language. Just head over to Apple Podcasts, where you can leave us a 5-star rating, as well as a review. You can also leave us a rating on Spotify. Your words of encouragement and feedback help us to grow and continue to create meaningful meditations for both of us. BIPOC women all over the world. If you feel inclined to, you may also donate on cash app Soul Sister Sleep or buy me a coffee. The links are below in the show notes. Thanks for your support and thanks for listening.
