On this episode of the pod, you guessed it: I, your host (Lauren LoGrasso) will be sharing my full mental health journey- from my family history, to childhood, to  how I got to where I am today--in a good place with and most importantly: aware that my mental health is something that needs to be tended to. My hope is that in hearing my story you’ll: 1) Be able to trace the lines of your own mental health journey and gain some new insight about yourself 2) You’ll go onto share your story with someone else so that we can all become part of the destigmatization of mental health and 3) To really share all of who I am - what I am finding is that we cannot fully appreciate the good and the light without acknowledging and owning the dark, too - you must feel it to heal it. 

Please note: we (My associate producer Emily (who acts as a guide for this episode) and I) talk about some sensitive topics including anxiety and depression, body image and eating disorders and also physical abuse/violence. If any of those topics are tough for you, please keep that in mind before listening. Love you and thank you for holding space for me today as I talk through this vulnerable subject!
