Do you like knowing how people think and do things differently? Get ready for Neurodivergent Spot, the podcast that shines a spotlight on behind-the-scenes elements of the neurodiversity world. But what does that actually mean? Stick with me and I'll explain. First, let me tell you who I am. I'm your host, Sam Marion. My pronouns are he, him, and I am a multiply neurodivergent therapist, speaker, and creator. My work focuses on neurodiversity, but with particular interests in autism, ADHD, learning differences, and learning disabilities. But this isn't just my job because it's my whole life. These identities are woven into my lived experiences and shape how I see the world. As a therapist, I get a unique view behind the curtain of people's lives, witnessing both challenges and incredible successes. In Neurodivergent Spot, you'll hear from guests who will share their personal experiences - stories that I hope will inspire you as much as they inspire me. Some of my guests are neurodivergent themselves. Some work with neurodivergent people. And some are neurodivergent folks working with others within the community. Each episode follows the same structure. I'll ask my guests four questions, and they'll have 60 seconds to answer each one. After they've answered all four, they'll choose one question to dive deeper into. So if you're ready to understand and celebrate nuances of neurodiversity, hit subscribe and join me on this journey.
