Welcome back to Soul Sistas Sleep Meditations. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the full moon meditation of November. With tonight's meditation, we are going to call in the beaver moon. one of the last, or the last supermoon of the year. Giant and white. I saw it this evening. I got really lucky and saw it, as I wasn't even gonna go outside, but I felt the need. to get my body moving even though it was freezing tonight being able to get out and walk in nature and walk in my community what took a right turn and i suddenly saw the moon big and yellow and it got a really good shot of it too as it hid behind the gray clouds the beaver moon was named after or named by native american tribes when beavers began sheltering in their homes after gathering enough food to last the winter This takes me to the way we build our homes, the way we build warmth and safety during the cold seasons. How do we support ourselves, our loved ones? How do we offer ourselves loneliness and the comfort that we need during the cold and dark seasons? How do we create a home? internally inside of ourselves how do we create a safe how do we create a safe and comfortable living space inside of our minds inside of our bodies and how do we connect our ancestors as we create the desired home that they always seeked with this formal meditation we are going to reconnect with our inner home inside of our minds, inside of our bodies? Who's living in that home with you? And when do these entities appear for you? and when do they try to take up space and take up all the energy in your room in your home remember that we can always reconnect with the warmth inside of us as it's always there. So let's start this meditation. with a deep breath as we find and search for a comfortable place comfortable position a place that is not stressful for our bodies an external space that is safe A place where you are free from any distractions for this moment. Let's take another deep breath in. And exhale out. as we relax deeper into the space, allowing ourselves to release the tensions of the day. The tensions in our neck, tensions in our back, the tension in our lower back. our bum and our legs, our thighs, our calves, our feet, just allowing our body to release everything now. For this moment we no longer need to hold on to anything. Maybe you didn't even realize you're holding on to anything. You are free to release and let go. you are free to release and let go. Perhaps you'd even notice that you're holding on to a few things in your body. It's very subtle. and this is why we pause and connect with our breath with a deep inhale in and exhale out as we connect with the subtle cues as we connect with spirit as we connect with our ancestral guides as we call in the ancestors on this beaver moan allow them to help us create our dream space, our dream internal home. But in order to do that we must open our third eye. To see, we must use our inner ear to listen. We must use our heart to love and rejuvenate ourselves. Let's take another deep breath in. And out, releasing all the tension in every muscle, paying attention to your breath. as we call in our ancestors, the energy of our ancestors on this Native American month as we are all native to this earth and we respect each other, we respect ourselves, and we respect the earth. pulling in the energy our ancestors filling in warmth comfort rest calling room, love, resiliency, flexibility, falling in, inner wisdom. in their responsibility, calling in a greater alignment with our ancestors as we ask them. What wisdom and warmth do you have for me? I'm listening. Calling in a free spirit. Calling in freedom. Calling in freedom in subtle ways in our daily actions. Seeking ways to show ourselves the freedom we do have, the love that we cherish. Calling in the small moments, the subtle cues. small moments of transition. That's where our freedom lies. Moving from one task to another. Waking up in the morning. Getting out of bed, putting on our clothes, grabbing some breakfast. In each task, there's a subtle moment where your morning can go a different way. They're subtle moments, transition moments, where our mind is free to wonder, what do you do in that space? calling in our ancestors, calling in the energy of the beaver moon, calling in the safe space in our minds. Allowing ourselves to pay attention to those subtle moments where we can open our third eye, open our inner ear, open up our hearts. and to listen to the words, listen to the energy of our ancestors, our spiritual guides, as they communicate to us what we need, how we can stay warm. In this cold environment that we live in, allowing ourselves to take another deep breath in. and out as we continue to call in our ancestral spiritual guides calling in the small moments in our daily lives that will allow us to invoke our own freedom. In subtle moments, there is true power. We sometimes think we have to do these big bold things, but there's power in the subtle moments. Power. those moments and in these moments It's where our ancestors and our guides speak to us most We can hear them clearly and closely Without minding what's going on in our minds, only being calm and listening. Listening to where we are being guided in small small ways. Calling in the energy of our ancestors The warmth they had and the warmth that they desired As we feel the energy of all the generations of our ancestors surrounding us as we channel in that warmth, that energy of transformation that energy of our ancestors being so happy and proud for what? we are doing for the effort that we are putting in and showing. Imagine how proud our ancestors are for doing the inner work that can finally communicate with them. How proud our ancestors are for finally understanding. they've been here all along how proud our ancestors are for knowing that their work was never in vain the power of our ancestors to build that worm Um, thank you. to our ancestors as we express gratitude from this new night knowing that their work is never in vain expressing gratitude for our ancestors for allowing us to reap their hard work and benefits all praises to our ancestors they are the true saviors and we will continue to do the work and continue to save the future generations, to provide warmth and comfort, to provide a home and safety for our future generations. Your work, my work. Our inner work is never in vain. All praises to our ancestors. Ashe
