  Welcome back to Soul Sisters Sleep Meditations. Hey Soul Sisters, welcome back. I know it's probably been a tough week for us all. I know a lot of big emotions probably came up for all of us as we heard about the results of this election. You know, it was a tough week for me, but also just reaffirming as well. I felt like Kamala being fully qualified for a role that she was going for and just being completely passed up. It's something that resonated with me deeply and I felt like it just reaffirmed my whole experience, our whole experience as Black people, Black women in this nation. It really just reflected and affirmed my life experience in many ways. And so, yeah, actually when I heard the results, I woke up really early because I was really anxious about it. And then I saw it and proceeded to go for a walk. And during that walk, I literally just cried. Because I just, I felt so much for Kamala. We've all been in Kamala's situation before. But having it occur on this huge platform, it was quite emotional for me. And so, as I had the tears roll down my eyes, I felt a sense of release and a sense of hope. Because I remember we've been here before, and we never stopped here. We've been here before many times in history, but as a people we never stopped. Our ancestors, they never stopped. Our ancestors never stopped fighting. And so we wouldn't be here without them. We are their dreams. And we will continue to carry the torch. We will continue to uplift and give to the communities that reciprocate. back to us. It's about healthy reciprocity. It's about love. It's about compassion. It's about safety. It's about evolution of the generations. And so we will continue to fight. And so with this meditation, we will allow ourselves to... Call in this energy, the energy of our ancestors, to lift us up and offer us hope as we continue. to lift each other up, hold each other tight, and tell a black woman that you appreciate her and that she's valued.   universe i ask you to call upon the ancestors who seeked freedom who knew we weren't supposed to be in this space call on the ancestors the power of the ancestors i'll call on their confidence i'll call on their creativity I call in their love. I call in their desire of freedom. I call in their self-esteem. For they knew. They knew who they were. They knew they were human. They knew they were... the mothers and the fathers of this earth. They knew who they were and modern day society tries to make us forget who we are. We're the mothers, fathers, kings and queens of this earth. he gave life to this planet i gave conscious life to this planet as i stand here calling in the powers of the universe we allow The powers of our ancestors to float through us. The ancestors who knew and followed their intuition. The ancestors who knew they were more than enslaved people. The ancestors who knew their value, their intelligence, their brilliance. Calm the energy of the ancestors who knew. We calm the energy of the ancestors who knew. So that we can know. Calm the energy. We call in the energy of the ancestors. their resilient nature, a nature that didn't and never gave up. We call on the energy of our ancestors. We're cunning and smart, brilliant, loving, kind and passionate. We call on the energy of our ancestors. they never gave up ancestors who continued to fight ancestors who fought their fighting energy is within us we just have to tap into it there are so many distractions in this world that contributes to our to ignoring our inner knowing to ignore our what we truly need ignoring not giving ourselves the words for what we need a call on the energy of the ancestors the ancestors that were hurt ancestors that didn't have the words to explain their experience ancestors who have been forgotten and the ancestors who we love very well recalling the energy of our ancestors resilient intentional high self-esteem knowing inner knowing deeply connected, connected to conscious, conscious beings, connected to non-sentient beings, connected to um, connected to cosmic beings. We call on the energy of the ancestors whose energy is much greater than mine, and mine alone. We call on the energy of our ancestors in these heightened times. We call on the energy of our ancestors. we call on the energy of our ancestors to live in our purpose live in our greater purpose dream dream just as they did love love yourself more just as they did to fight the collective fight even if we didn't reap the rewards calling in the energy of our ancestors and last but not least

  You know, we will all soon be ancestors ourselves. One day we will be an ancestor and we will contribute to that collective energy, the evolution of humanity. Ashe.
