    Welcome back to Soul Sistas Sleep Meditations. Hey, hey Soul Sistas. Welcome back and thank you for everyone, the select few that joined me last month for our full moon meditation event. It was a very wonderful time together and I want to continue doing more live meditation events and allow myself more time because 40 minutes was not enough to get through everything. So this month, I will be also offering up a full moon meditation for the month of October. Happening on the evening of Wednesday, October 16th. For peace, hope, and kindness. I know there's been a lot of things going on all over the world that we're seeing. So much chaos, corruption, destruction. of innocent lives. So tonight's meditation is going to foster a little more hope and spreading love and kindness to ourselves and to our brothers and sisters all over the world. So before starting this meditation, let's first start off by giving a few collective sighs together. And I want to hear you. 3, 2, 1. One more time. This time, when you take your breath in, raise your shoulders all the way up to your ears and release the sigh out. So let's give it a try. 3, 2, 1. Raising your ears. Sigh out. One more time. Three, two, one. One more time. Three, two, one. seeing the world in a suffering state and just rapidly declining takes a toll on our collective mental health. I know it has been a heavy burden on our shoulders, our hearts and our souls and we can feel so helpless during this time. But there are actions we can take, which I'll share in the show notes below. Taking these resources as an opportunity to learn something new about another culture and history. So, as we move through this meditation, We dedicate it to honor and show respect for oppressed people all over the world and to pray for a ceasefire in Palestine. and all over the world where there is violence and warfare. So free Palestine, free the Congolese, free the Uighur people, free the Ukrainians, free all people, named and unnamed. who are victims to oppressive and destructive systems globally. Down with oppressive, violent, and destructive systems. We are asking to free people. Free people. Free people. Free people. Sometimes I feel like we are living in multiple worlds. where we have our immediate world surrounding us a world where we have direct control a world where we have the power to transform our reality directly and then we have another world It seems so close because we can see it on the TV screen and on YouTube and on social media and it feels like we have very little control in this world, but this world also impacts how we show up in our immediate world. which encompasses our inner world and the world that we take up space here in our home, in our city, in our community. And in the same way that seeing these images on TV, the same way that they impact us and how we show up in the world. We can also impact and help by educating ourselves on what is going on in the world little by little. and also by showing more compassion and understanding of the world around us and immediately in our control in our inner worlds we can actually do our work of understanding our own personal prejudices and our cognitive biases and we can learn to live in a world where the spreading of false ideas and perceptions of racial, national, religious hierarchies that result in the destruction of innocent lives these patterns in society have placed some lives and determined that some lives are more worthy of life over others when life is a basic human right. I feel like it's simply unfair and unjust. but by taking part in this meditation we can focus on feeling empowered to take action Empowered to educate ourselves. Empowered to speak out for humanity and recognize that there is humanity in both parties involved. In the suffering of individual human beings. Free both sides as everyone suffers Humanity as a whole suffers It's like in your body If you have one rogue cell That decides to multiply things can really get out of hand. And so we are going to offer affirmations of peace, love, and compassion as we acknowledge and see that in this moment of difficulty. In this moment of suffering, in this moment of discomfort and destruction, we are going to take the time to connect to our heart center by first placing our left hand over our heart. and resting the right hand on our lower abdomen as we hold this space for hope, peace, and compassion. So allow yourself to get into a comfortable spot as we connect with our heart center. Let's start by taking a deep breath in and deep sigh out. Once again, deep breath in. and deep sigh out as we imagine a light a ball of light radiating above our hearts a glowing light from our heart As we inhale, imagine this glowing light getting larger with light, getting larger full of life. And as we deep sigh out, imagine this light. being spread out into the space around you. Inhale in, imagine the glowing light getting larger. and exhale out allowing yourself to spread this light out into your immediate space and the world around you once again deep inhale in and out allowing the glow from the light to spread out the light of love straight from the heart once again deep inhale in As we watch this glowing light increase and exhale out, focusing on this light and feeling it spread out into your room, your city. your country and the earth once again deep inhale in and exhale out feeling the glow spread out into our room feeling this light spread to our city feeling this light this glowing light spread out throughout our country feeling the glow and spreading it to the parts of the world that is suffering. Spreading it to the parts of the world that need more light and more support. feeling the glow spread and fully encompass the earth as we feel the earth radiate this light As we move into the affirmations, allow yourself to feel this lightness and this glow. Allow you to feel this lightness. and feel it back into your body as well as we repeat the following affirmations as a collective we are all connected There is no race except for the human race. May we have the courage to stand up for love and compassion. May we have the courage to stand up and give voice to oppressed people. May we bring light to our interactions with others who may identify differently from ourselves. May we breathe respect and kindness into the air. while interacting with others. who think the same or differently from us may we allow those differences to exist may we allow those differences to exist May we allow ourselves to move with an extra amount of openness, curiosity, and genuine connection as we move about our day. May we acknowledge our differences. yet still honor our own beliefs may we feel worthiness may we feel worthiness May we find energy to respond creatively. May we explore our forms of expression to support and offer. hope and offer education may we practise non-violence in our speech and in our words may we practise speaking with gentleness and care. May we amplify compassion, empathy, and healthy love. May we amplify compassion. Empathy and balanced love. May our peace come upon our sisters and brothers in Palestine. May we send hope to suffering people everywhere. May we take actions to support the freedom of body, mind, soul and spirit of suffering people everywhere. May we radiate genuine love. May we radiate love for human beings. As a human collective, we are worthy of love, life. We free our minds today. We free our minds and let love in. We free our minds and see humanity in all. We free ourselves. so we can free others through these affirmations. We embrace all cultures. We embrace all life. We embrace all living things. And we take care of one another. Ashen

    Welcome back to Soul Sistas Sleep Meditations. Hey, hey Soul Sistas. Welcome back and thank you for everyone, the select few that joined me last month for our full moon meditation event. It was a very wonderful time together and I want to continue doing more live meditation events and allow myself more time because 40 minutes was not enough to get through everything. So this month, I will be also offering up a full moon meditation for the month of October. Happening on the evening of Wednesday, October 16th. For peace, hope, and kindness. I know there's been a lot of things going on all over the world that we're seeing. So much chaos, corruption, destruction. of innocent lives. So tonight's meditation is going to foster a little more hope and spreading love and kindness to ourselves and to our brothers and sisters all over the world. So before starting this meditation, let's first start off by giving a few collective sighs together. And I want to hear you. 3, 2, 1. One more time. This time, when you take your breath in, raise your shoulders all the way up to your ears and release the sigh out. So let's give it a try. 3, 2, 1. Raising your ears. Sigh out. One more time. Three, two, one. One more time. Three, two, one. seeing the world in a suffering state and just rapidly declining takes a toll on our collective mental health. I know it has been a heavy burden on our shoulders, our hearts and our souls and we can feel so helpless during this time. But there are actions we can take, which I'll share in the show notes below. Taking these resources as an opportunity to learn something new about another culture and history. So, as we move through this meditation, We dedicate it to honor and show respect for oppressed people all over the world and to pray for a ceasefire in Palestine. and all over the world where there is violence and warfare. So free Palestine, free the Congolese, free the Uighur people, free the Ukrainians, free all people, named and unnamed. who are victims to oppressive and destructive systems globally. Down with oppressive, violent, and destructive systems. We are asking to free people. Free people. Free people. Free people. Sometimes I feel like we are living in multiple worlds. where we have our immediate world surrounding us a world where we have direct control a world where we have the power to transform our reality directly and then we have another world It seems so close because we can see it on the TV screen and on YouTube and on social media and it feels like we have very little control in this world, but this world also impacts how we show up in our immediate world. which encompasses our inner world and the world that we take up space here in our home, in our city, in our community. And in the same way that seeing these images on TV, the same way that they impact us and how we show up in the world. We can also impact and help by educating ourselves on what is going on in the world little by little. and also by showing more compassion and understanding of the world around us and immediately in our control in our inner worlds we can actually do our work of understanding our own personal prejudices and our cognitive biases and we can learn to live in a world where the spreading of false ideas and perceptions of racial, national, religious hierarchies that result in the destruction of innocent lives these patterns in society have placed some lives and determined that some lives are more worthy of life over others when life is a basic human right. I feel like it's simply unfair and unjust. but by taking part in this meditation we can focus on feeling empowered to take action Empowered to educate ourselves. Empowered to speak out for humanity and recognize that there is humanity in both parties involved. In the suffering of individual human beings. Free both sides as everyone suffers Humanity as a whole suffers It's like in your body If you have one rogue cell That decides to multiply things can really get out of hand. And so we are going to offer affirmations of peace, love, and compassion as we acknowledge and see that in this moment of difficulty. In this moment of suffering, in this moment of discomfort and destruction, we are going to take the time to connect to our heart center by first placing our left hand over our heart. and resting the right hand on our lower abdomen as we hold this space for hope, peace, and compassion. So allow yourself to get into a comfortable spot as we connect with our heart center. Let's start by taking a deep breath in and deep sigh out. Once again, deep breath in. and deep sigh out as we imagine a light a ball of light radiating above our hearts a glowing light from our heart As we inhale, imagine this glowing light getting larger with light, getting larger full of life. And as we deep sigh out, imagine this light. being spread out into the space around you. Inhale in, imagine the glowing light getting larger. and exhale out allowing yourself to spread this light out into your immediate space and the world around you once again deep inhale in and out allowing the glow from the light to spread out the light of love straight from the heart once again deep inhale in As we watch this glowing light increase and exhale out, focusing on this light and feeling it spread out into your room, your city. your country and the earth once again deep inhale in and exhale out feeling the glow spread out into our room feeling this light spread to our city feeling this light this glowing light spread out throughout our country feeling the glow and spreading it to the parts of the world that is suffering. Spreading it to the parts of the world that need more light and more support. feeling the glow spread and fully encompass the earth as we feel the earth radiate this light As we move into the affirmations, allow yourself to feel this lightness and this glow. Allow you to feel this lightness. and feel it back into your body as well as we repeat the following affirmations as a collective we are all connected There is no race except for the human race. May we have the courage to stand up for love and compassion. May we have the courage to stand up and give voice to oppressed people. May we bring light to our interactions with others who may identify differently from ourselves. May we breathe respect and kindness into the air. while interacting with others. who think the same or differently from us may we allow those differences to exist may we allow those differences to exist May we allow ourselves to move with an extra amount of openness, curiosity, and genuine connection as we move about our day. May we acknowledge our differences. yet still honor our own beliefs may we feel worthiness may we feel worthiness May we find energy to respond creatively. May we explore our forms of expression to support and offer. hope and offer education may we practise non-violence in our speech and in our words may we practise speaking with gentleness and care. May we amplify compassion, empathy, and healthy love. May we amplify compassion. Empathy and balanced love. May our peace come upon our sisters and brothers in Palestine. May we send hope to suffering people everywhere. May we take actions to support the freedom of body, mind, soul and spirit of suffering people everywhere. May we radiate genuine love. May we radiate love for human beings. As a human collective, we are worthy of love, life. We free our minds today. We free our minds and let love in. We free our minds and see humanity in all. We free ourselves. so we can free others through these affirmations. We embrace all cultures. We embrace all life. We embrace all living things. And we take care of one another. Ashen
